It's amazing how much can get done before I've had a chance to boot up my work computer. Today's no different. Between picking up the dry cleaning, welcoming a few new faces to the Citadel team (New faces = very good sign take that wall st.) and catching up with the roomie, I was alerted I just 'HAD TO SEE' these before I got down to business. Lucky for you I slapped them all in one spot so you don't have to hunt for them.
1) Youtube Symphony Mashup - a gazillion people playing the same piece, submitting their videos and youtube making it look/ sound flipping awesome. It goes along the theme of "We're both looking at the same moon and on two different sides of the world" idea, only speaking the international language of music. LOVE IT!
2) Lindsey Lohan's EHarmony Profile - hilarious
May not totally revive your public image but not a bad start.
3) Susan Boyle - Singer - Britain's Got Talent 2009
Biggest surprise! 47 Year old Susan Boyle wows the judges with her performance in the auditions for Britain's Got Talent, singing I dreamed a dream from Les Miserables.

Yuck It Up: I've Been Had
First thing I do in the morning (after turning the coffee on) is check my email. Clicking into google my little gmail dashboard offered me a peek into the google labs - that mysterious digital think tank where google magic happens (google task lists, gmail stars) yeah I know what's up.
So you can imagine the mini-'O' I had when I read about the latest gadget under the hood of my Gmail: AUTOPILOT. Yes, finally I can respond to your emails real time! Autopilot responds to your emails based on my preferences, writing style, emotional use, and brevity.
Of course, I had to share the news with my other googlephiles (aka googleaddicts) until Bill reminded me of the date today. Go ahead yuck it up - I've been had.

Russian Cabin Fever
I would hurt someone.....not because of the confined space....because I couldn't talk. Mom used to ask my sister (3 years younger) how her school day went. She never asked how mine was. Just a daily briefing a la Jen's whopping 6-hour class schedule would run her minimum 45 min. By the time we hit recess she either changed the subject or left the room. I was seven, you can imagine how our phone calls go at 25.

MOSCOW — On Tuesday, six people will be voluntarily locked into a cloister of cramped, hermetically sealed tubes woven inside a Moscow research facility the size of a high school gymnasium. They will eat dehydrated food, breathe recycled air and be denied conversation with practically everyone else but one another.
And they must stay inside for 105 days.
In a small step in the direction of Mars, the international crew is embarking on a simulated flight to the planet to test the limits of human tolerance for the isolation and monotony of interplanetary travel.

Wag the Dog
FROM TY: MY FABULOUS PRODUCER
I hope she meant the neighbor - not the roomies. Decide for yourself
Hey Jen,
I saw this video on youtube and there's this lady that kind of resembles you. Check it out:

Where Everyone Knows Your Name
Well sort of.
So I'm sitting at my favorite local watering hole (and predecessor to my retirement project Zoe and Joes) The Crystal City Sports Pub when who should I see...none other than Terry McAuliffe, former Clinton Fundraiser and DNC Chairman; and current Gubernatorial candidate.
It all happened so fast, I didn't get the opportunity to work my Jen Richer charm and say hello again (we've met two other times) but I was able to snag a photo from a guy who snapped it on his iphone.
Celebrities eh, but politicos heck this was a full blown TMZ moment for me. Running to tell the owners who I just saw eating in their bar, I was expecting at least one 'wow' or at least a 'now way."
Instead I received four blank stares and one bold "who?". So much for everyone knowing your name - even if you are running for governor.

Basket Bracket
It's that time of the year again where office productivity wanes in honor of March Madness! Drawing from my highly honed basketball skills, (ha!) I have put together my bracket. Do yours and we can compare notes!

Twitterific
From the Desk of Jen Richer: New Media Addict.
Thanks Joanie for the tip on this strip!
Today is all Twitterific! This morning I schooled Joe Scarborough (former Congressman and host of Morning Joe) on how better to use his Twitter. As a newly inaugurated Twit, I am always looking to share some observations on the community.
Now I can't take credit for these specific suggestions for Joe, it was my colleague Carolyn, (202tweet) who pointed out his tweets were a little RSS feed like for us fans.
Stay tuned Twitter fans for more on this new media journey. I have just a few thoughts but have clearly exploded past my 140 character limit.
